In this opening shot Budgie, (desperate and in need of money after being beaten and warned-off by Charlie Endell), has just removed a film cannister from BR left-luggage locker #17 at St Pancras Railway Station, that he had stashed there as a little 'insurance policy', and has gone to Tottenham Road Tube Station where he is to meet a mate of Jackie Fordyce who, (he was told), may strike a deal with him. 

This particular geezer is interested in buying what is a stolen and very incriminating "home movie" involving Charlie and an ex-stripper. It's not long before Mr Endell gets wind that Budgie is back on the streets of central London, (clearly, he hasn't learnt his lesson), and what's more, has red-hot property belonging to him!
